Recently we have noticed that the news has carried reports of rioting in various parts of the world. |

We wondered whether this form of demonstration worked or not. We went out onto the streets of Hackney to find out. |
||||||||||||||||
|
We did a number of voxpops with local people and wanted to see how rioting affected the young in particular. We even stopped a celebrity, Sadie Pickering who plays Flick in 'Waterloo Road'! We asked her what she thought about the subject. |

Sometimes they're effective because they push so hard but if they're violent then people don't want to go with that anyway
