Recently, the government announced that it was going to build more nuclear power stations to meet its Carbon Emissions targets. But does this mean we have given up on the alternatives? |

Some people suggested that nuclear power was the only viable alternative to the use of fossil fuels as it was the only means of electricity generation which could supply enough energy for the country and cope with surges in demand at specific times. |
