A misnamed teddy?

An international row broke out following a class in a Sudanese infant school naming their teddy bear Mohammed. The British teacher was jailed for blasphemy and later freed.

Hackney residents had a variety of opinions.

It's just children have named their teddy after something they believe in.

The teacher was freed after 8 days
I think it's inappropriate. She could have named it something like fluffy, like a cute teddy bear name. She didn't need to call it a Muslim prophet.

It's a child's toy, and you call it a name. It's only a name. It's not like you've done anything really bad like hit someone, killed someone.
