iPods, mp3s and mp4s are being used in school more than ever before. But can music actually help you concentrate?

Some people think it helps; others disagree. So do headsets distract students in lessons?

If you're supposed to be listening to your class teacher, or a part of a group activity, then obviously that's not a very good idea.
