How will Hackney benefit

In 2012 the Olympics are coming to East London. We investigated to find out what benefits it will bring to Hackney.

Some People thought it would benefit the area in many ways, both during and after the event. Many tourists will come to London which would mean lots of work for businesses and more money for Britain.

We're going to see a lot of improvements to Public Transport in Hackney as a consequence of the Olympics.

We're going to see the new East London Line going all the way from Canary Wharf to Dalston.

However some people think that the olympics will raise prices which would make it harder for people in Hackney to buy houses, and being unable to able to pay the full price would have to rent.

With 2012 still a few years away, many people thought that the younger generation would benefit most.

I would think about the youngsters. That is their future you see.
