The pressure to be 'Size Zero'

Recently, more and more young women and girls have become obsessed with being 'Size Zero'. Is it all down to things like magazines?

These days women and young girls look up to models or celebrities as their idols, but is this the wrong thing to do?

Younger girls look in magazines and find celebrities wearing or modelling really nice clothes, so all the young girls and women feel pressurised to fit into the clothes to look as good as the models.

The girls look in the magazines, they look at the posters for all different commercials all over the world and they want to copy us.

The idea of models who are so so skinny; it's not the normal type of body for women.

An adult who is 'Size Zero' is equal to a young healthy child's body size which is wrong for their body. If you're a young child with a 'Size Zero' body (4-6 clothes) then that is alright.

It is understandable that models try to make themselves look good but it shouldn't be just 'Size Zero' models. It should be people of all different shapes and sizes.
