Size Zero: The consequences

Nowadays young people feel pressurised to copy models, trying to be 'Size Zero' but what are the mental and physical consequences of being 'Size Zero'.

'Size Zero', size 8, size 16, size 24 or even obesity. There are many problems in Hackney about food. It is not about what you eat, it is about how much you eat. Some of your friends may be anorexic, normal or obese. This can cause depression.

The type of physical reactions people can go through trying to get to be size zero are starvation, vomiting and, basically, feeling absolutely dreadful.


Pressure to be thin
There's lots of changes within the body and it puts a lot of stress onto the system.

Their immune system is put under stress so they are prone to infections.

What do you think? Do you think 'Size Zero' is attractive? 'Size Zero' models are trying to look good for the camera and the general public. Most 'Size Zero' people are as thin as a rake.
