Recent reports have said that a 25 storey block is being set up in Shoreditch. We decided that we would invetigate how the tower blocks will affect London and what local people would think about it. |

Shoreditch is reknowed as an artistic centre of London; Tracy Emin, Dinos Chapman, Gavin Turk and Rachel Whiteread are backing the campaign named 'Save Shoreditch'. |

We asked Rebecca Collings, spokesperson of the campaign, what she thought of the proposed buildings. She said they will lokk like a 'medieval fortress'. |

This development has a very large block. I mean you can't quite imagine how tall it is; 25 storeys. And then it's surrounded by smaller blocks of about 12 storeys but it's very close to the street so it looks like a sort of 'medieval fortress'.
