The Hoxton Apprentice is a training resturant which provides different skills for homeless and long-term unemployed people.

Many people believe that other people shouldn't be given a second chance, because they wasted their first. The Hoxton Apprentice believes differently. It is run by a charity called Training for Life.

Gordon D'Silva, Chief Execuctive of the charity, Training for Life, invested his money in the social enterprise called Hoxton Apprentice.

Hoxton Apprentice sounds similar to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen, however, there are many differerences. Hoxton Apprentice focuses on employability. While Fifteen focuses on Chefing, Hoxton Apprentice focusues on a wider range of skills such as waiteresses, bar staff and chefs.

Hoxton Apprentice trains over 500 people a year and more than 90% of them find employment after leaving Hoxton Apprentice.
