Students from Hackney Free & Parochial school posed a question:
"Are kids influenced by the army TA adverts?"

12 challenged the idea of the TA adverts. They asked members of the public:
"Are young people tricked into warfare?" and came across conflicting opinions. While they where out in the field they interviewed Christopher James Williams who gave them a positive view on wanting to join the army. He was quoted as saying "It's my decision and nothing has influenced it."

However, some members of the general public seemed aware that young people were being persuaded to join the army with advertising and propaganda. Our investigation was interesting and was not conclusive although it did leave us thinking: "Does your country need you or is it using you?"

The Army Cadets is just fun really - it gets people off the streets. You become a better person more than anything else. I wanna join the army, that's my personal preference - nothing's really forced me into it.
